Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda. L’accueil est chaleureux et le personnel vraiment très gentil et attentionné. Les chambres sont confortables, même si un peu vieillottes, mais tout est propre et bien entretenu. La piscine et la plage sont magnifiques, malgré la présence de sargasses. Le petit-déjeuner est bon et varié, en revanche le buffet du déjeuner et du dîner manque de diversité. L’hôtel est situé à environ 15-20 minutes en taxi du centre-ville, ce qui est à prendre en compte si vous souhaitez sortir régulièrement. Côté excursions, celles proposées vers Bacalar et Holbox sont superbes et en petit comité, ce qui rend l’expérience très agréable. L’excursion à Isla Mujeres nous a moins plu car beaucoup plus fréquentée. Dans l’ensemble, une belle expérience, avec un personnel au top et un cadre agréable pour des vacances reposantes.

große Anlage mit zu wenigen Shuttles, um zu den verschiedenen Pools/Restaurants zu kommen. Buffet bietet wenig bis kaum Variation und Qualität unterirdisch. Vor allem am Wochenende war die Anlage voll mit Partygästen, die bis in die Nacht gefeiert haben und lautstark an den zimmern vorbeigegangen sind. Hauptpool ab Mittags nicht mehr zum entspannen zu nutzen, da hier neben extrem vielen Gästen auch sehr laute Musik vorhanden ist und das Entertainment Programm viel zu laut gestaltet ist (laute Mikro-Ansagen, ...)

Nothing that is listed as part of the all inclusive is included everything to do there is an up charge, WiFi didn’t work the entire time we were there either. Staff was not helpful in answering any questions or concerns

While the staff and air conditioner were largely great, there is a swamp in the middle of it, the exterior roofs are falling down and the watwr is not properly filtered. We both got sick

Room: completely outdated. There’s mold on the ceiling. Bathroom mirror is tarnished. We killed a cockroach on the last night. AC works but could be stronger - we had to leave a room key in always to keep it on. They do provide you with iron and mini blow dryer in the room. Food: you need to reserve restaurants at 0700am in concierge or through the app for the next day. Spots fill up quickly. Italian restaurant was not too good. Mexican was good! Oh, and you have to go to the buffet for dinner, you need to make a line to go in. I could not fathom that in an all inclusive. Anywhere you go they serve a lot of steak which was fresh. Pool: beautiful! Gets cleaned every night. In the morning, it is cold but by early afternoon is feels like a hot tub. No bar inside the pool which sucked because you constantly need to get out for drinks. Beach: DISGUSTING! It has seaweed everywhere and the water is brown. It also literally smells like a toilet. It was gross.we rented a jet ski and If you go deeper in, the water is actually clean and blue - so that’s an option. Drinks: watered down. You literally have to tell them to make it stronger and even then it’s straight ice. Staff: somewhat friendly. They just try to do their job and stay out of trouble. Nobody is amicable or there to conversate. We are big tippers and didn’t feel the urge to tip as often because we felt like they didn’t tailor to our needs . Like I said, the bare minimum. Overall, definitely doesn’t seem like a 4 star

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! I booked as all-inclusive hotel. Half the stuff in their list is not included. Restaurants are never available! Staff DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. They charge for food service and have no options! Room service and front desk never picks up the phone! When I tried to discuss these issues with a manager! They kept telling me that there is no manager on premises. Save your time and vacation and do not book this disgusting hotel!

This property very quiet, exept the show at 9:30 pm , there is nothing else going on. Food limited , you have to wait in line to get seated inside buffet . Beach bar u have to wait up to 10 minutes to get a drink . Stuff very strict when it comes to beach towels . Only 1 towel per person and thats it , you will not getvsecond towel lol. Overall this place for people 50 plus that want to relax by them self with few drinks in their hand . Lol

We booked 3 rooms for 5 days and still treated horribly. The food was pretty much limited to the 2 buffets. Restaurants require a reservation and were booked the entire time. We ate at the Mexican restaurant once during our 5 night stay. Alcohol was undrinkable, cheap and drinks so strong that they all tasted like cough syrup. Harassed by time share reps. Staff was not friendly. Snake in our bathroom and ceilings were literally falling down in the halls. Very rundown. Room service and other all inclusive amenities were denied. The only time we enjoyed ourselves was when we left the resort for food and activities. We will NEVER return to this property even if it was free! Don’t do it, waste of money and time.

There was damage and lack of maintenance. Everything needs renovation

Snake in the bathroom. Baby boa constrictor. On 2nd floor and apparently came up through drain on floor. Boyfriend had to remove it himself
