This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room' or 'this is the general problem'. The daily activities and restaurants are good but I think the room itself is the basic of which the problem and technicians visits, really bother our holiday mood.

Generally good ,The room and the surrounding environment are clean and quiet, but there are mosquitoes in the room, and those shower gels, which are either not available or difficult to squeeze out.

The property was excellent from the wildlife to the onsite ruins, the lagoon almost always guarantees water access provided there’s not a tropical storm, the onsite access to Xcaret was excellent, the only complaint would be the food you won’t go hungry but most of it isn’t something to write home about, the buffet options are limited and in comparison to other BARCELÓ group properties around the same price point it falls short. Even a 10% percent increase in the food quality and selection having pe would make this an absolute go to destination.

We like the nature view from the Hotel to the privave beach they have. We did not like that the bars only have 1 or 2 bartenders preparing for the guest. They looked overworked and overwhelmed and drinks took long minutes to be served. We would like to see at least another brand of beer. They Only have ONE brand. Last but not least, they beach bar closes their service too early. We got back from our tour at 5pm and they tolds us that the beach bar was already closing soon. Not a chance to relax after 6pm at beach area..we had to bring 4 can beers from our room...Choosing another Hotel soon to keep experiencing. Thanks for everything provided.

Great property! Very friendly staff! If you are an animal lover the place is a paradise. Place is huge so you could find your perfect spot. You like quit and peaceful you could find it lots of trails and nature to get into or quit part of the pool. Dig more of an Urban upbeat area hard over to the plaza. Food was OK/Good. Buffets were buffets, lots of options but you know a buffet. The reservation restaurants Ok. Good but nothing that blew us out of the water. We are vegetarian so our options were limited maybe the full menu options were little more impressive. To be honest I was a little worried reading a few other reviews as the staff friendliness seemed all over the place but their entire team was fantastic to my family. The time share push gets a little old but it seems expected anymore with almost all vacation properties.

The resort was a really nice experience, lots of things to do and to keep you occupied. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner buffet's and service were excellent. We tried a couple of specialty restaurants, but the food quality and service were really lacking, we were disappointed.

All the Staff were so nice and friendly. A huge shout out to Samantha and Brian our concierge at Building 21. Also Moses from Belize our golf cart driver. And finally Roman at the Snack Bar for being so nice and great to chat with. Excellent service all around.

quiero felicitar el excelente Servicio de Uriel edificó 22 fue lo único bueno y los bellos animales. Compre el paquete en Expedia para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa sus 40 años pero fue la peor experiencia hospedarnos aquí no hubo nada de beneficios supuestamente el edificio 22 que cuenta con un lobby con un cuarto con bebidas lo más básico. A todos les indiqué que era el cumpleaños de mi esposa y nadie tuvo ninguna cortesía incluso una fruta que vi varias en el edifico pero ninguna en nuestra habitación. el primero día no contábamos con internet y se solucionó hasta el próximo día. No tuvimos energía eléctrica en todo el edificio al día siguiente por horas las noches regulan el ac, Los restaurantes tiene muy pocas opciones para mi el pero all inclusive que en vivido la mejor comida en el área royal y otros restaurantes escondidos bajo el nombre de exclusivos entonces para que paga uno el all inclusive si no lo es ? El transporte es el verdadero terror el conductor de transporte con doble remolque es una persona grosera y descortés y lo peor ponía en riesgo la integridad física de los huéspedes casi atropella a una niña. Tiene que contratar a alguien que no se la pase enfadado y que le guste hacer su trabajo. Al igual que el Mesero Carlos y el restaurante de Tacos sufre de lo mismo se muestran disgustados y nos dio el peor trato de nuestras vidas los tacos de pulpo crudos por lo que casi vomito y nos falto el respeto en una ocacion por lo que nos retiramos.

Second time at this resort and the people are really amazing. The food is great. The only problem was the amount of carts and small trucks driving around. Too many and we had to get out of the way several times everyday to let them pass. Just walk! Also, the resort looks a little more tired as it ages so would be nice to see some upgrades. Highly recommend.

We were a group of three families who took four royal rooms for six nights. Food and beach view from the restaurant awesome. Some of the waiters at Royal were not friendly to us since we had small children and they kept on spilling water on the table. We didn’t feel welcomed always. Royal front desk was friendly but untrained. I got locked out of my room almost everyday . They were not able to fix our bracelets to work properly. Xcarat unlimited was awesome which is why we chose this place . Landscape and grounds, and lagoon all are beautiful. We are at the main buffet once and beach cafe , snack bar once and then la Hacienda Mexican restaurant once. Food was alright but won’t exceed expectations in those places. Royal food is beyond awesome. What we paid for the rooms is just worth the food we got .
