Staff, food & drinks and activities were excellent. Beach access was very nice too, although quite a lot of seaweed (not the fault of the resort, just time of year). Would definitely go back :)

We had a great time. The resort was one of the smaller resorts. Ias a result it was very personable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were lots of dining options including a sports bar. The pools were clean and quiet. The beach was amazing. It was close to many other recreational activities if wanted. The resort was very easy to get around. The rooms were very spacious. The bed very comfortable. If I was going back to that area I would chose this resort again.

The accept to the beach was great. Most of the staff was really cool minus the lady who promised our transportation money back if we did the time share pitch. Money back didn't happen. If they had a shuttle bus to and from the airport, it would've been fantastic. Overall the place was nice, clean, food was decent, and most of the staff was pretty cool.

Loved the fact that they have a microwave because I’m all about hot food! Pool bar was fabulous! Kendall is a national treasure! Protect him at all cost.

5-Star Review for Ocean Maya Royale Resort – Cancun I recently returned from an unforgettable vacation at Ocean Maya Royale Resort in Cancun, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the location took our breath away — right on the edge of the sparkling Caribbean Sea, with stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a relaxing escape. The food at the resort was absolutely fantastic. Every restaurant served high-quality, delicious meals with a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant staff was truly top-notch — friendly, attentive, and always making sure we were satisfied and smiling. Dining here felt like a true luxury. Special shoutout to the incredible entertainment team — Kendell, Margarita, Victor, and Oswyn — who made every day fun and full of energy! Whether it was pool games, dance lessons, or evening shows, they kept the good vibes going and made everyone feel welcome and included. Our room was always spotless and refreshed thanks to the hard-working housekeeping team, who went above and beyond to keep everything perfect and comfortable. Thank you, Ocean Maya Royale, for the great vacation! We can’t wait to come back!

Quick three night stay, didn't upgrade to Privilege and don't regret it. Ample choices for meals and plenty of areas to hang out both near the music and action and away without upgrading. Property is smaller relative to some of the newer massive resorts and very walkable. Our room was central to everything, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Reservation only Japanese hibachi was mediocre, especially considering the difficulty to get in. Open air Italian restaurant on the beach was biggest surprise of the restaurants, scenic, and delicious. Breakfast at the buffet had plenty of options. Spa package was reasonable for two. Staff was attentive enough while lounging and very accommodating at the bars. Shout out to Jony and Edgar for the excellent drinks! We would absolutely recommend. The only negative if any was that the desk staff seems to push the "privilege" status thing a bit hard in demeanor. Didn't bother us one bit. Once you're checked in and on your own everything was great.

Staff is very friendly and polite. The rooms are nice and clean. They have activities through out the day. The pool are is always nice and clean, they work around the clock to keep everything ready for the guests. Better than we expected.

We had a great vacation. The resort entertainment was at a minimum, so we were disappointed. We still definitely had a relaxing vacation. The staff were great and very friendly. The resort grounds beautiful. We absolutely felt safe. If you want a really chill and relaxing experience here is the place to visit.

The food and dining options were fantastic! Mike's coffee was so appreciated and the after hours food options were as well. The pool, beach, grounds and rooms were just great and the activities and entertainment were a lot of fun. The only thing that I would like to have seen was a full length mirror in my room. Other than that, I would definitely come back!

The hotel is amazing, beautiful beach and the staff super friendly. The food it was very good but I think the bar options could be a bit better. You can't have a Campary in the top shelve as a VIP drink.

The staff and food were excellent. Would recommend downloading the app to experience the other dining options eg japanese restaurant. It may be good to book the privilege also. We didn’t and it was harder to get into the other restaurants for dinner. Our room was quiet and clean and all the staff were pleasant. We would definitely go back.
