Este hotel con el tiempo se ha deteriorado Mucho en sus áreas, la comida de todos los restaurantes fue muy mala. Solo tiene algo bueno, la gente que trabaja ahí tiene una actitud muy buena en amabilidad servicio. Pero ya no volveré sin duda esta muy malas condiciones y abandonada la calidad de los alimentos

Traveled with an infant and family (group of 10ppl). Immediately after arrival, we were talked into setting up a breakfast meeting for a timeshare. We also met up with an Expedia rep at the resort who offered to book reservations for us, we were able to reserve Brazilian for the following evening(Monday). Since we were there from Sunday evening until Friday morning we would only have 4 evenings to have dinner at their reserved restaurants. Same day that afternoon we went to the main pool, set up, and decided to go look for drinks since the swim up bar was closed, we ended up at the sports bar & got multiple drinks for different people in our party & the server had a long face, we started to walk away & I decided to get one more so I walked back up & asked for another one & she said "you only asked me for one so I said- yes I got one & now I'm asking for another" I apologized after receiving my additional drink & received no response from her (hence I speak both English & Spanish, so this is not a language barrier thing). After spending time at the pool & heading back to the room, we stopped by the reception desk again to make reservations for the other restaurants but to our surprise we were told we could only have 2 reservations. I paid for "all inclusive" you'd only assume.Not all restaurants were open/available, there seemed to be a lot of construction going on around the resort & was really not enjoyable to be sitting next to the pool & have hammering noises in the back

C'est la 2e fois que nous venons au Sandow caracol. Nous y avons séjourné à priori pendant une période de basse affluence, ce qui a provoqué la fermeture de plusieurs restaurants (salvia, las mascaras, la Toscana). Je peux comprendre que du côté de l'hôtel il faille optimiser des couts, cependant, nous n'avons pas eu un tarif réduit pour autant, et la diversité des restaurants annoncée n'était donc pas au rendez vous. De plus, des couts hallucinants pour prolongation d'utilisation de la chambre ont été demandés pour le jour du départ, j'ai cependant obtenu un délais d'1h supplémentaire, mais pas satisfaisant quand on part en fin d'après midi pour un voyage de 15 heures sans pouvoir prendre une douche juste avant le départ, même dans une autre chambre qui n'aurait pas été nettoyée. D'autre part, la plage a beaucoup changée depuis notre dernière venue, moins profonde, et la période à laquelle nous sommes venus, une énorme recrudescence d'algues ont rendu la baignade très peu agréable. Mais cela n'est pas le fait de l'hôtel, qui avait du staff pour essayer de ramasser les algues en vain. La piscine principale avait l'eau assez trouble et ne donnait pas trop envie de se baigner dedans. Les smoothies naturels étaient très bons. Le personnel de nettoyage des chambres et de la restauration était particulièrement aimable. l'emprunt des vélos ne pouvait se faire que jusqu'à 16h, aux heures chaudes, un décallage jusqu'à 19h aurait été appréciable. bel environnement naturel luxuriant

We have been to this resort a few times, and it has never disappointed us. The staff is amazing, the food is great and there’s lots of places to walk and enjoy. When my kids were younger, they enjoyed the cenotes, the waterslides, as well as the wildlife. The pool side food was great when they were small as there was always something available for them to eat. Occasionally there is a paella day and the chef does an amazing job. As mid teens now, they enjoy the food and the pool (and sleeping, pretty sure we didn’t see them before noon most days). The entertainment crew at the pool (Emily, Victor and Fernando, you’re awesome!) was top notch. Side note, with our Expedia booking, we had a concierge that we could WhatsApp and she booked all of our restaurants for us. She was great and very accommodating about booking around our excursion days.

Pésimo que reserve primero para un adulto y dos menores… desde que pides reservar obligatoriamente te pide las edades de los mismos… pues dejé hecha la reserva y me pidió pagar llegando a la propiedad… cuando llegue resulta que la reserva era para un adulto y dos bebés… pues me estuvieron moleste y moleste toda la estancia en que tenía que pagar 63 dólares por menor por día extras. Llegue con mi madre (adulto adicional) pague la diferencia de tarifa y traté de ponerme en contacto con expedía pero no lo logré para la aclaración de los menores. Mi mamá es una adulta de la tercera edad y la recepcionista nos puso en una habitación en un tercer piso SIN elevador. PÉSIMO. NO VUELVO.

Nice property. Has a lot of nature. Has adults only secrion but everything closes early in that section. Staff is friendly but you have to goto them for service. You wont be waited on hardly anywhere.

Some of the staff were quite rude during our stay, which was disappointing. The property is very spread out, so depending on where your room is located, it can be a long walk to get to the restaurants or beach. We specifically booked this resort for the waterpark, but it was closed the entire time, which made the stay feel like a waste. We’ll be trying a different place next time.

The most disappointing area of this resort was the kids club. There were cockroaches in the children’s area as they were doing yoga. It did not look like they consistently cleaned either. The resort grounds were beautiful, however the standing water was often very smelly and murky which was not pleasant to look at. The servers in the buffet areas were wonderful, however not so much at the other restaurants. We did enjoy seeing the monkeys and Coatis.

The resort was great. Buffets were average. Staff was not great. Room had no AC took 2 days for them to finally switch us. The app never worked for us couldn’t book dinners most days. Everytime you went to book dinners it was always the person is at lunch no matter what time you went. Felt like I was lied too about anything at any time. Any question or concern it was a different answer from each person. The Segway guys Mickey and Allen were fantastic. Roxanna and Esther the maids were phenomenal.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. It is very large and there is a lot of walking to get where you need to go. Customer service was really bad. They seemed unwilling to accommodate your concerns and would push the blame on to Expedia. We sent an email several months ago asking for seven of us woman to be put into the same building or side by side. They put us all over the place and would not put us together. Booking dinner reservations was a hassle You had to go to concierge but they were never in the adult only area. The servers were all very nice and very helpful. Food was not my partee. But some of it was good. The monkeys were awesome.

Great resort. The vegetation and wildlife was phenomenal. The food was only okay, Los Lirios was the best a la carte. The "app" on the website was very convenient. The decor was so colorful and beautiful. We saw coaties, monkeys, snakes, iguanas, geckos and numerous birds. The street food night was the best event.
