The property is in bad condition. The rooms are nice, but need maintenance our room had some holes in the gypsum. The bed very goodThe bathroom also very good but could use a shower curtain.Because water goes everywhere when taking a shower. The grounds are very very nice. The beach can be accessed with a small taxi that goes from the rooms to the beach and back.This service is all throughout today. The reason for my low evaluation is the food. This hotel is all inclusive, but the food is very, very substandard.For an international hotel, breakfast is basically local food.Every day, the same thing. For international travelers, there is not much variation in the food.Everything looks and tastes like "gajitos" food that you can buy in the street for very little money. As and all inclusive resortThe drinks were free and were in abundance. I recommend trying to use a small exclusive restaurant which is sometimes included at no x.Additional cost where they serve you very, very good and tasteful food.The food that you receive for lunch or dinner again is very substandard.It's just very local, very cheap.Costa rican food, in my opinion, not suitable for foreigners. I would not recommend this hotel for international travelers

Expedia stated free shuttle, the hotel said they only do free shuttle coming in not leaving. There was no internet in our rooms, TV quality has horrible. Staff was very nice.

La relación precio/calidad está bien, sin embargo, el hotel se ve abandonado, las instalaciones descuidadas, zacate sin cortar, el menú del restaurante es muy básico, antes habían 2 restaurantes más y ambos están cerrados. Tienen atracciones de feria cerradas también. Prácticamente no hay snacks y poca variedad de frutas. Cerca del bar del restaurante huele feo como a caño. Otra cosa fue que no tenían piñas coladas porque les faltaba un ingrediente. De verdad que tienen mucho que mejorar si quieren seguir funcionando, por muestra parte, no lo recomendamos.

Le hace falta mucho mantenimiento, la habitación cómoda pero deteriorada hasta nos salieron un nido en la tina de zampopas, la comida no muy buena, no dieron paños para la piscina, mala atención, los juegos dañados y abandonados, se nos robaron un off nuevo de la mesa y nadie supo dar explicaciones, la cena que teníamos derecho todo un tema, no cosas de higiene. etc. Lo único que rescato es la vista hacia el mar, la playa hermosa, el traslado en carro dentro del hotel muy bien.

My husband and I visited Costa Rica for the first time and stayed at Condovac La Costa. This place had the most stunning views, the friendliest staff, and access to amazing adventures. The rooms are a bit dated, however, the bed was perfect and the room was clean and cool. If your plan is to stay in a room, this ain’t it. If your plan is to immerse yourself in adventure and local community, be surrounded by beautiful sites and enjoy a breathtaking experience, I’d highly recommend. You’ll basically have a person onsite that can connect you to all things. Our guy was Inaki and he literally made himself available for all of our excursion needs. I can say more about this place and the people. Pura Vida!!

The entire staff at this hotel was courteous and welcoming. Throughout your stay at the hotel, they assist you with all of your needs. This hotel has breathtaking views. Although the hotel may use some renovations, we had a wonderful time overall. In addition, the on-site restaurant offers excellent meal service. The beach is within walking distance, and the shuttle service is excellent. I definitely recommend.

Las instalaciones están viejas, deterioradas, las atracciones no funcionan y las promocionan. La atención al cliente es pésima, a excepción de algunos como el bartender Lewis. No hay variedad de comidas, y son muy repetitivas todos los días, sirven comidas del día anterior, y no hay variedad de postres 2 días el mismo postre seguido Las habitaciones si son excelentes. No lo recomiendo, e inclusive los mismos trabajadores no recomiendan el hotel.

I loved the scenery, from the hills, beautiful ocean view, walking distance to the beach, beautiful ocean view from the pools. The property needs renovations and updating. Looks old. Ac unit needed repairs in my room. Hot water wasn't working. Food was good. Snacks were ok. Wifi only worked by the lobby and sometimes in the main dining area.

The staff was great, the bar drinks was good. The food was okay it got bring fast. Our room had ants, so dont bring any food in the room. While the staff is understaffed their kindness shows and they seem to care... the Condovac property is honestly dilapidated, old and in need of some serious TLC!! The all inclusive property has a singular dining hall for all you can eat, with limited hours. The one other place to eat is by reservation only. There is one timeshare-like sales oriented company that's built into the experience. They offer money back etc. The typically. If you like walking hills... get ready!! Yes they have a shuttle that runs with a generous frequency, but it's not always there when you need it. Get ready for serious cardiovascular workout, via your lower body, make sure your heart is good/pretty strong. Otherwise, be patient and await thr shuttle. The food, in the singular dining hall does not seem to be prepared with true Costa Rican pride; needs improvement. Safety didn't seem to be an issue. The location was probably the best thing it alhas going for it. Even tho black sand beaches are a very different vibe, Playa Hermosa (hermosa beach) didn't disappoint. If I could sum up the Condovac experience in one word it would be; Overpriced. They would be wise to sell. And/or close down for 1 year, and commit to rebuilding. going up and down the hill.

The reason we selected this location was because they advertise that they have child amenities like a Ferris wheel bumper cars none of which were open when we got there also, it should be noted that you will have no Internet in the room, which is a bit concerning for us however the location and pools were phenomenal. They had great transportation methods to get you through locations. They also advertise that four different restaurants were available however while we were there only one was available and to be honest only breakfast was a good option there thankfully there were other options available on the beach. We did have to pay out-of-pocket for those restaurants however they were very good 10 out of 10 highly recommend Roberto‘s.

Staff were amazing! We had absolutely no problems, and we had a great time. Property was clean and well maintained. There were no complimentary i that we are accustomed to like dish soap, towels in the kitchen. However, this is just a minor complaint and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
