Property has false advertisement on the Expedia page need remove from expedia.Rooms do not have Wi-Fi, I paid for ocean view and had an extremely restricted view. Towels were dirty, room AC didn’t work, and lost power in room twice.I don't recommend to anybody go to this property..I don't have any good world for this place...I hope I never go there...DON'T GO ...

The property VERY steep a shuttle is always running It's older so don't expect la dee da decadence but has lots of character, good landscaping, gorgeous views, lovely staff and 5 different pools (two infinity) one which is a swim up bar. And not a hot tub but a cold tub (and you will need it sometimes) it's a very hot area and Costa Rica is known for its micro climates. If you opt for the lovers suite you can get breakfast in bed and have access to multiple restaurants that you need to reserve via WhatsApp. And some places are only open on certain days as well. (one of which is beach side) speaking of wifi I could only get it to work at the main restaurant and spotty in my room. Maybe opt for a $30 e sim card like my girlfriend did she had no issues. There can be a language barrier with some staff but there is always someone around with pretty good English to translate and all the staff do try thier best. Food is very authentic. Water is clean and safe for drinking. At first we thought that we didn't get a lot of options but we found out throughout the week that that's Costa Rica and they seem to eat a lot of the same stuff. Not too worry the food was still quite tasty but you may want to venture off the resort to one of the surrounding restaurants for something else. There is also a great pizza place a bit inside the town. The town is small and sleepy with lots of quiet quaint hotels and very safe.The beach is gorgeous and the excursions are excellent see Javier or Ignasias

Las vistas son hermosas. Las habitaciones estan bien y el AC funciona perfecto. El agua caliente de la ducha no funcionaba siempre. Esos son los únicos dos aspectos que se pueden rescatar de este hotel. Las zonas comunes estan descuidadas y es visible que necesitan remodelación. El restaurante domde sirven el desayuno, almuerzo y cena es poco agradable, se ve sucio, no ha sido pintado en mucho tiempo. El restaurante no cuenta con el equipamiento básico para servir comidas estilo buffet. Es decir no hay fuente de bebidas, ni tampoco un lugar adecuado para presentar las comidas. Sirven las comidas de manera improvisada en un buffet móvil que se usaria para una fiesta. Se nota desordenado y la comida se ve mal presentada. En el area de la piscina no hay sillas ni para un cincuenta por ciento de los huespedes hospedados. En la playa tampoco hay suficientes sillas, quizas habían 20 ó 30 sillas. El día que llegamos no habían paños de piscina y la respuesta de los encargados con risa burlona fue "estamos llenos y los paños no alcanzan" Fui a la recepción y los empleados pudieron conseguir. Por cierto los empleados de la recepción son los únicos amables, el resto del personal no es amable, se les nota desmotivados y haciendo su trabajo de mala gana. Parece que el hotel no tiene claro su concepto y objetivos. Necesitan una administración que lidere a sus empleados y mejore las instalaciones urgentemente.

The view was a 10. The shuttle was great throughout the property as it has very steep hills. The beach was awesome as well as the pools. The food was a 2. There was only 1 restaurant open while we were there and there was not a variety. There was no entertainment. The employees could have been friendlier. Typically at an all inclusive everyone is friendly and accommodating. Not so much here.

La calidad ha bajado demasiado, la calidad de la comida muy mala, pocas opciones de comida, y de mala calidad, igual con el servicio de bebidas, el restaurante pésimo, y las instalaciones con muy mal mantenimiento. Personal desmotivado y poco amable. Mala limpieza. La calidad en todo el hotel disminuyó considerablemente.

The view and pool area was great and a nice beach. More dry/desert like than the pictures show though. I never complain about food and drinks but this really was the worst I’ve ever had. 1 very limited buffet. The restaurant wasn’t open our first two nights and finally was open our third night. We were seated and told it was also a buffet. It was a tiny buffet with desert from that days lunch in the other buffet. The drinks were very limited as well.
