“Stayed twice at this hotel due to its location & made to feel very welcome. Hosts are very obliging & nothing too much trouble. Rooms whilst basic are exceptionally clean & space more than adequate for short stays. pool is small but nice with small sunbathing terrace & sunbeds.Had breakfast which was continental style & more than adequate as a start to the day, hotel itself is immaculately clean & well kept. “We were very impressed by all the staff couldn't do enough for us, we went there with friends to celebrate Moira's birthday. We had a few problems the air conditioning wasn't working so it was 27° in our room and very hot in our friends room also the jacuzzi bath didn't work. Some of the furniture needs tidying up. The big problem for us was the boat yard next door sanding a boat for painting was very noisy other than that we had a great time.”

“We loved our stay at Playavera, the pool area is very pretty, lots of loungers, plus a warm indoor pool and beach access so close. The location is fantastic, everything you need. We were gutted to leave, but reception refused to consider our request to extend our stay in the studio for the price of a double, despite stating most of the studios were available. We couldn’t afford boarded (food) options and the one night we paid to eat with friends we were very disappointed. I wouldn’t eat dinner……

“Not really our type of hotel, too many people with children. Long queue to check-in, almost one hour. Bar service poor, queues to get served, table service non existent. selection of brandy very poor. On the plus side the staff were all very friendly. ”
