“Everything was perfect with accommodations/communication. Easy walk to town, a little up hill on the way back. There’s a well stocked market just down the street. ”

“This property was recommended to me by my brother who stayed a few years ago. We had a wonderful time! The house was very comfortable and clean. There is AC but we never had a need for it. There are tons of windows and cool breezes. The house is nicely decorated, easy to come and go on our day trips, and has a beautiful porch to spend our evenings on. There is a couple of nice bakeries and a market within walking distance. I honestly cannot recommnd the house enough. I would love to go back!”

“I’ve stayed here in the past, so I knew what to expect for the most part. However, there hasn’t been any upgrades to the house since my last stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the living area was not working, and my shower had no head, so water just poured from the pipe. Honestly, it was better than having a head with terrible pressure. Other than this, the property and location was perfect for us. ”

“ Culebra is a once in a lifetime experience and this property served our needs well for the week we spent there. Our Villa shared a deck with another unit which came as a surprise to us. Hot water not hot but in fairness this is very common throughout our travels in the Caribbean. ”

“Me and my family stayed two nights at Amarilla Casita. We had no issues, the conditions were basic, bathroom was clean, there was plenty of room to sleep. Love the island ! We had wonderful meals at El Norte restaurant. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay in Vieques. The house was exactly as advertised. The kitchen had some basic spices oils and such that were very helpful . The view from the roof of the ocean was very nice. We loved sitting on the patio playing cards. It was a quick walk to town (a bit hilly) but no complaints at all. It was nice not to have to find parking when we went down for dinner. The communication with Simone was excellent. She always responded immediately. Five stars!!!”

“I was here for my birthday celebration. It was not the experience I was expected. We get a complaint letter from the hotel because I was calling my family on the balcony at 10:00 pm with regular voice. The other guest yelled to me and the hotel got their complaints and wrote me a long letter against me. They didn’t even ask about what’s going on. I felt uncomfortable. Also, there is no AC. "Our stay at this property was disappointing due to several issues: 1. No Hair Dryer or Hot Water The room did not have a hair dryer, and there was no hot water available throughout our stay, which made it very inconvenient. 2. Lack of Basic Supplies The toilet paper roll was nearly empty when we arrived, and no refills were provided. 3. Excessive Humidity The room was extremely humid. After participating in a bioluminescence activity, we were unable to dry our wet clothes overnight—even hanging them on a chair only made them wetter. Without a hair dryer or proper ventilation, we were forced to wear damp clothes while traveling. The humidity also affected the bedsheets, which felt damp and made it hard to sleep. 4. Unhelpful Property Manager We contacted the property manager for assistance, but they were unable to provide any solutions to these issues. Overall, the poor conditions and lack of responsiveness made our stay uncomfortable and frustrating. I would not recommend this property to others unless these issues are addressed. "
