“We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again! I was a little skeptical about the shared boat dock and basically the back yard once I realized it was shared. However, the neighbors were very friendly and it really was no issue at all. The home was clean and relaxing! Host was kind and informative. Great place to stay!”

“We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!”

“Just spent another amazing week at Tropical Paradise with friends and family. The location is perfect being close to Washburns marina for the younger kids daily milkshake runs and off the main lake just enough to float all day peacefully! The game room and loft area is perfect for kids ranging from 6-26 and never feels overcrowded. The owner is amazing and checks in frequently to make sure all is well. We are already planning next summers trip to Tropical Paradise again! ”

“The place was nicely furnished, was very clean and had comfortable beds. The owner was easy to deal with. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice to walk. I sat on the large porch in the mornings with my coffee, and it was very peaceful and enjoyable. But as the morning wears on, the sun goes overhead and the entire porch becomes too hot to use. Unfortunately, the porch on the other side of the house isn't better in the afternoons since the "roof" is translucent and therefore doesn't provide……
