“It started badly. It took 4 attempts to get check in details via 3 different people. Then, when we arrived at the admittedly charming location, things unravelled further. the very first thing that hit us was a fusty smell of neglect as we opened the door. We do not think the description or the website is accurate. Far from being - as promised - a charming holiday cottage with a warm and cosy atmosphere - it is a rundown, cramped, shabby bungalow in desperate need of maintenance. The woodwork……

“Ein wunderschön und absolut einsam gelegenes Haus inmitten von Oliven- und Orangenplantagen, unweit des Meeres. Eine völlig untouristische Gegend, auch das ist etwas für Individualisten. Ein Traum, aber nicht für jeden, die abgelegene Einsamkeit und die abenteurlichen Anfahrtswege muss man eben in Kauf nehmen, wenn man diese Ruhe will. Auch die nicht vorhandene Klimaanlagen in den Obergeschossen macht den Aufenthalt im August bei über 40 Grad etwas beschwerlich, auch Moskitos sind so nah an den……
