“Great rental. Although the lake in back of the house was dry, the owners let us know immediately so we could make an informed decision. Appreciate the honesty. Very accommodating and kind hosts. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.”

“The property was very clean and suited our needs. However, arriving and seeing how low the lake has apparently been for over a decade was a bummer. The pictures on VRBO need to be updated. We were also unaware we’d be sharing the property with down stairs tenants.”

“The property had many accommodations and activities to do during the stay. From the living/sleeping spaces, the game room, and the outdoor spaces. There was plenty to do. The water was lower than shown in the photo (the water was not close to the dock like the photo, had to walk to get to the shore). Host had good communication and answered all questions. Highly recommend unless the water level is a deal breaker.”

“I don’t usually leave bad reviews, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. But Not all houses are safe or clean enough to be used as a for profit guest house. I am sure this was someone’s childhood house. However, whoever owns it now has not kept it up. The cleaning crew needs to be fired, It had trash and filth under beds, in corners, all on the cabinets and stove top. One of the toilets had a crack in the bowl and a sink that the water had stained brown. The water is smelly like……

“Stayed overnight for work event and it was perfect. Very clean and had absolutely everything one would need. We spent some time outside just talking and taking in the South Coast air. I bet when the water is up it is a even better. Would recommend to anyone needing a quick stay.”
