“I got a very big suite, more like a one-bedroom apartment which is comfortable. The location is great. Right by the ocean. Two major casinos as well as a shopping mall, a major tea shop and McDonald's restaurant are within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. The vehicle charge by the hotel to go to the airport is a bit high (US$25,) and the driver, who openly admitted he drove under fatigue, asked me to pay for the toll. I thought it should be included in the charge.”

“The property is a great place to stay as a family and the interior of the unit is awesome. Only issue I found was the shower was clogged and it has been like that for the whole stay although notified. The interior materials were high quality with a great view of the city. The bedding could have been cleaned but they rectified as soon as noticed. The caveat of this building is the parking. If you are driving reconsider just based on my experience. ”

“Deva the caretaker made the difference. He was fantastic. A very caring man. The owner Dinesh and his wife very responsive and we felt so comfortable going forth our chosen residence in Colombo. We have stayed at the Hilton, Cinnamon Grand, Kingsbury , Cinnamon Lake etc. but this is the place to stay. 10/10”

“We are a family of six who had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Ad Astra. Everything was perfectly organised from the moment we arrived, including a delicious welcome lunch. "This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel, I basically like this hotel because I feel it new, model, clean. I recommend to all my colleague who need to go to Sri Lanka. However, this time, I feel a bit disappointed, the room wasn’t really clean, - first day when I check-in, I find there have a bottle of water had been drunk half. - I feel the carpet had something to bite - sometime, the room service did not throw the rubbish even it was full - room service will laid part of the quilt on the carpet It make me a bit disappointed."
