“We stayed 2 nights for a girls getaway and we enjoyed every thing from the beautiful cottage to the beach and the hot tub. We didn’t use the sauna. The beach is fabulous. The only small suggestion we had was maybe the outdoor shower could be closed in so you could take your bathing suit off to get the sand out, that way you wouldn’t get sand in the hot tub. We would definitely recommend this place, it is lovely.”

The layout of the house worked really well for our family of five (two adults and three children), and we appreciated the convenience of such a short walk the beach. Beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed to make several meals, and it was helpful to be able to do laundry, too! Definitely recommend.”

We spent a lot of time on the deck and loved it - a humming bird and chipmunk visited regularly and we could enjoy the heat without getting burnt. Unfortunately all the trails in Nova Scotia were closed (fire risk) but we swam a lot at Red River beach. We had a great week. ”
