“as it says cosy and comfy...beds were super comfortable. it was quiet and homely, took a little bit to work out the shower and couldnt get tv to go, however if they left instructions on both that would help. great pressure in the shower , fridge had lots of little extras in it which would be good if we cooked and a great supply of milk. it had everything we needed and loved the style and bits and pieces in there .eg the record player and games books etc. thanks very much very helpful and……

“Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee. “My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions. I highly recommend going on the farm tour if you can - the tour is usually included for people staying at one of the hostess's properties, and includes the opportunity to meet sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, emus, and ostriches. “We were delighted to start our stay in NZ at Brooke and Charles’s place. Immediately, we were taken by the many birds singing and otherwise general quiet of the property. It is a working farm, so we enjoyed the chickens and cat wandering by. The patio offers a perfect seat for the sunset. The mornings offer views of fog settled in between the hills. The location is a short drive to Otorohanga and the Waitomo Caves area. Brooke was communicative and kind. ”
