“We loved our stay; as the kids said, it was “better than ice cream”! Cozy and pretty, with beautiful trees and views. Redwoods right outside your door! We had campfire nights with s’mores, dinners on the patio, and slept great in the mountain air. I really loved the primary bedroom and our girls loved the bunk beds (and toy area). ”

“Hidden gem! Tastefully decorated, has everything you need and more. Clean, cozy, comfortable for a small family or a couple. We wanted to spend Christmas away from home and Martin’s Cabin was a home away from home inside and outside. We even had a nice Christmas tree waiting for us upon arrival. “This cabin was meticulously clean and well-stocked with essentials, seasonings, cookware, and bakeware. The host was very communicative and genuinely cared about his guests' enjoyment. My husband and I traveled from Missouri just to see the Sequoias, and they did not disappoint. The only downsides were the lack of cell signal and the distance from town. There is a general store and cafe a few minutes from the cabin, but luckily, we stopped in Porterville and grabbed groceries before arriving at……

“Conveniently located cabin California Hot Springs area of Sequoia. Near to cafe and convenience store — not to mention all the activities and beauty of Sequoia. One bedroom with a queen bed. Cozy living room with a wood-burning stove for heat augmented with electric space heaters. Efficiency kitchen, outdoor deck area overlooking stream. Friendly, attentive management. We had a great two day visit!”

“We took a last minute trip to the snow, and had never been to this area. Jim and Karen answered all of my questions (I had a lot) and they couldn’t have been nicer. They welcomed us by having a nice roaring fire going in the cabin. We had planned on going to Alta Sierra, and the tube park was closed. Turns out, there was no need to go at all. There is a small hill right next to the house, and a larger hill just down the road. We will probably take chains for the cars next time, just to be safe.”
