“Drop dead gorgeous lake without the jammed, crowded lake houses so many other Minnesota lakes offer. Unique island location. The sauna was immensely popular with everyone. “Excellent communication throughout the process beginning with making reservations to checking out. The cabins were clean, staff friendly, lots of activities to do on site. The breakfast was amazing! “We had a great time. Everything you would expect from a Minnesota Cabin. The lake was nice and caught several nice fish...we put them back so they're still in there. Dog loved it. Too hot for the hot tub but looked well kept and perfect for cooler weather. We'd go back again. Friendly neighbors/people passing by on the lake. There was one restaurant about 15 minutes away. Brought a George Foreman and that worked out nice for cooking. There was a grill but never used it/looked at it.……

“My husband and I along with our two boys (ages 16 and 14) stayed at Sandy Pines for three nights. The boys enjoyed fishing on the lake (we brought our own boat). Our boys also took the kayaks out and fished some on their own. The view from the deck was a perfect spot to sit and drink your coffee in the morning. Amy had EVERYTHING you needed to make this cabin home for your stay. The cabin was very clean. We would definitely stay there again! ”

“My family and I had a wonderful week long stay, the house was spacious, clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, paddle boarding and floating on Lake Pickerel, along with great bonfires and making s’mores in the evening with a beautiful view of the lake.
