“The hotel is close to the Mestre station, about a 5-10 min walk. There is a side entrance to platform 1 directly, you don’t need to go through the main entrance of the station, which is a bit further away.
There are a few hotels and restaurants nearby. Feel safe in the area at night.

“The apartment is an excellent location for a visit to Venice. It is away from the crowds just far enough to access easily by boat, with an incredible view across the canal. “This was exactly as described and as beautiful as the pictures show. I would not stay here with young children because of the auntiques (you can see them in the pictures - very beautiful) but it was spacious and beautiful and pretty easy to get to Venice using the buses. We had an issue with the fuse and I called him after 10:30PM and he answered right away so I was very grateful. He was also able to work with us to get in a little early which was so nice. “Great property that allowed us the flexibility to live and explore the local area which we were familiar with away from the crowds. We made use of the courtyard, until the mosquitoes descended in the evening. It was a great place for breakfast each day,The approach to rubbish collection needs to be standardised as in the apartment were notes on collection AND delivery to a boat which was re-enforced to us. In actual fact the rubbish collectors knocked the door as we had not put any waste out……
