Fantastisk vært, som stiller op og hjælper med alt vi havde brug for. Nærværende og altid i godt humør Gode råd og tips til det vi gerne ville opleve i området - både nært og fjernt. Vi ønsker helt klart at komme tilbage.”

“Erg fijne en persoonlijke ontvangst door een bevlogen eigenaar Massimo, waarbij we een erg goede en precieze uitleg kregen van het prachtige huis en de omgeving. Huis ligt enigszins afgelegen dus een uitdagend autoritje maar we werden door de eigenaar keurig de berg op begeleid. ”

“Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. She invited us to attend with her and it was the best way to start out our visit, when you watch tv and see Italy with everyone from the town eating together, it was exactly like that an 8 course meal with all the wine you could drink it was amazing. She was available for everything we needed……

“This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. If you like some solitude……

“A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. The villa was well laid out for a group of 13 of us ranging from 9 to 49 and pretty well equipped including pool inflatables and sun loungers for the lovely infinity pool. Franco was very helpful and hospitable. Only slight criticisms are that the aircon on the top floor is not really……
