“ Attractive and comfortable with a well set up kitchen, it was a perfect location for our annual escape from the pre Christmas Melbourne madness. 2004 was not a good year health wise for us, so we needed somewhere comfortable to do nothing but read, and rest and Banyan Place did just that!”

“Our suite was excellent and the dinner at the Oak & Anchor was superb! We recommend the duck confit and the beef cheeks. Broccolini side was perfectly cooked. Great bottle of local Pinot. Very local, welcoming feel. Awesome. Breakfast the next morning could use some help though. Was ok, with excellent coffee, but would be easy to make very special. Would highly recommend, and Port Fairy is a beautiful town! ”
