“The house is a quaint style probably built in the 1940’s, the decor was also in that era, with modern renovations like the kitchen and bathroom. Also close to the beach.”

“This is a plain property located right across from the beach and pet friendly, so ticked our boxes: Pets, view of sea, walk to beach. Note there is no wifi Internet and the location has very poor TV reception and mobile coverage, I suspect there is little the property owners can do about that but just beware.”

“We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool”
