“The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck.”

“We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. “Well equipped trailer with a beautiful view. We did on the whole enjoy staying at the property. It is quite a remote property which was a little nerve wracking at first as our signal was limited but the setting is worth it. Only about 20 mins to St Peters. Our main feedback was just around the compost toilet, whilst eco efficient, it does have a smell and this smell progressively got worse with more use. “A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly.”

“This hotel does not deserve it's name. Look at the pictures. The window is held closed by a screw attached to some piece of wood, bed leg and bathroom sink legs are crooked. The toilet flush is in a inconvenient spot to say the least. The carpet is full of stains. There was a cricket under the bread which by the way free breakfast is cereals and toasts only. Do not waste your time, sleep in your car.”
