Our stay at the Radisson Hotel in Port of Spain for one week was quite pleasant. It was conveniently located near many points of interest in the downtown area. The only disappointment was the service rendered by the management of the 360 Degree Restaurant on Mother's Day. The behavior of the woman in charge of accommodating brunch reservations that given morning was inexcusable and unwarranted. My party of 5 made advanced payment for brunch and were first in line to be seated but were cast aside. We were encouraged to wait for others to be seated until the error could be figured out. I had to return to the hotel manager on the first floor in order to resolve the matter. The encounter spoiled my appetite and caused embarrassment unnecessarily. This experience marred an otherwise pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel was clean and safe. The staff, with the exception of the 360 Degree Restaurant management, were professional and courteous. The pool could use some attention as well in order to appear more inviting. The visual quality of pool wasn't crisp. The color choice of the pool interior may have caused the water to appear darker than most hotels. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay.

There was an awful smell as you got off the elevator and along the hallway. I accidently booked a non refundable room but thank goodness it was only for 2 nights. I would not stay there again. The carpet should be removed and replaced with tiles. Check in staff was extremely personable and helpful.

The staff is phenomenal! They went above and beyond to help me during my stay. Whether it was to help me book a ride or even to help me with my luggage to a point that they were not obligated to help me with. That made my stay at the Radisson. To the staff.. THANK YOU. Their hospitality was so nice I hate having to mention this next part but i want to be honest. I’m not sure what was going on but from the moment i entered my room, i noticed there were gnats flying around in my room. I think At first i thought Meh, this won’t be “a thing.” But it was a thing and it was bothersome. I only stayed two nights and i was out and about so I dealt with it or else i would have asked to switch rooms. As i was Checking out I shared the gnat info with the lady at the front desk and she was apologetic. Hopefully the issue has been addressed. Also, I felt the door to my room was thin and i could hear too well the actions in the hallway. Just a personal pet peeve. Others may not take issue with that at all. I just Like a more sound blocking door.

The property was within distance of the location my meetings were being held and staff members were very accommodating and friendly.
