“We are a family of 5 travelling through Newfoundland and tent camping most of the way. Staying in Barry & Linda’s RV was a welcome comfort! Tidy and cozy, with all the amenities we had been missing while tenting! Our boys enjoyed the property, chatting with Barry and Linda, as well as playing in the brook right beside the RV. At night we could hear the babbling brook and enjoyed a fire that Barry had started for us after our whale watching tour they had recommended - it was amazing!! We even……

“We had a great stay at this home. It was a comfortable home base for our trip to see the puffins. Only a 15 min drive to Elliston Puffin Viewing Site and close to many beautiful hikes and restaurants. The home was clean, pretty and had great views of the sea.”

“Mayo Cottage is a perfect location for getting to many other sites in the Bonavista Peninsula with the cottage waiting for you with beautiful views of Southern Bay at the end of the day. The driveway was steep for our front wheel drive rented car. AWD would have handled it easily. And so we parked at the top of the driveway just to make it easier on ourselves. Easy access to Trinity, Bonavista, Tickle Cove. Lots of tourist information available at the cottage. Don't miss the Historical Walking……

“David and Coco’s place in Summerville is exquisite. They have maintained the spirit of the place perfectly while adding all the amenities you might need. (The master bed is incredibly comfortable. Best sleep of our lives.) It’s on a dead end road in a beautiful cove and so is very peaceful but within striking distance of Bonavista, Trinity and all the other very busy spots on the peninsula.Dave and Coco also give their guests a very thoughtful guide to the house and area. Can’t recommend enogh. ”

Just up from Tickle Cove, we had an easy drive to Bonavista, Elliston, Trinity and Tickle Cove. Plus the cottage has an unrivaled view of its own. Perfect for our family of 4.”
