The Space:
Accommodates 11 guests: (3) queen beds, (1) king bed, (1) twin sleeper sofa, (1) full sleeper sofa.


Avatar by the Sea is a 4/3 bath home located in beautiful Cape San Blas, Fl. Surrounded with lots of natural trees and vegetation, this home has views of the bay and the gulf - watch the sunrise over the bay in the morning and set over the gulf in the evening. The observation tower on the top level has great views. Your beautiful, private swimming pool awaits right out the back door.


This home is about a 5 min walk to the beach down a nature walk through the development located behind the home.


On the ground level is one of the two masters that has a king bed, large double closet, and a full attached bathroom with a shower. The laundry room is also located on this level and has a full sized washer and dryer. There is also access to the two car garage, where you will find an additional refrigerator.  


The private pool is located off of the garage, with lounge chairs and access to Misc. beach toys, and pool floats for you to enjoy during your stay. There is also a beach wagon, coolers, and pool toys!


On the second level, you will find your main living area with the living room that features a sleeper sofa couch, love seat, and an additional chair which has a twin sleeper sofa, kitchen w/granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, dining room w/seating for six and additional seating can be found at the bar and provided TV trays. You also have access onto the main level deck, where you will find outside seating and an outdoor dining table with great views of the pool. There is also stairs on this deck that lead to the pool area.


The kitchen is stocked with everything we think you’ll need during your vacation with us. Dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, crock pot, dishes/silverware, a good selection of cookware, utensils, glassware, and much more! We strive to start all guests off with a supply of:


Dish soap
Hand soaps
Garbage bags
Dishwasher detergent
Paper towels
Toilet paper
Laundry Detergent 


Also located on this level are two bedrooms, both have Queen size beds. Located in the hall outside of the bedrooms is a full sized bathroom with a tub/shower combination.


The third level features the second master which has access onto its own private deck with views of the water and pool. This bedroom has a queen bed and also has a full attached bathroom with a large garden tub, walk in tiled shower and a double vanity sink.


Going up the steps to the fourth level, you will find access onto the screened observation tower which great views of the Gulf and Bay and an outdoor table/chairs. Perfect place to enjoy a cocktail!


The Loggerhead Run Bike Path is an eight mile trail on Cape San Blas that runs the length of the Cape from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park to Salinas Park along Hwy 30E/Cape San Blas Road, and is great for walking, jogging or biking and is just across the street.


You are within walking distance from Skully's Low Country Boil which has amazing steamed shrimp, low country boil, and gumbo! The Tradin' Post is just a few blocks away as well.


Avatar by the Sea is a non smoking unit, and is pet friendly for an additional fee of $150 pet pet, max 2. (dogs only please) Bookings through a third party site (VRBO), will have this fee added onto your reservation at the office.


Children are also welcome at Avatar By The Sea.


This home also comes with two kayaks, life jackets, and paddles for you to use.


Monthly reservations accepted Jan-Feb. Call or email for monthly rates.


This property has a 4 night minimum, with the exception of holiday weeks (Example: 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving etc). Must rent for the full week during holidays.

Perfect family vacation beach house.

Avatar by the Sea had more than we expected. Our favorites were the short nature walk to the,not crowded, beach. Eating our meals out on the deck while listening to the birds chirping. Plenty of space for our family to unwind.The pool was so nice to relax in. We watched several sunsets from the area on the 4th floor. A lot of details were put in to make this house a great place to vacation. Loved every minute.

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful time! Very clean and very spacious! The pool was perfect for the kids after the beach and more than enough space for all 11 of us! Definitely enjoyed the less crowded beach and the small town feel of the cape! Perfect get away spot!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful Home in the Very Best Location

We were fortunate to stay as Family in May in this amazing Home. The location is ideal, close to walking down for donuts or ice cream, and just a short pathway to a beautiful section of Beach. The House was super clean, with updated furniture, and everything you would need. Entry was simple, and the Property Manager made communications easy. The Pool was wonderful, with the fence providing added privacy. We would certainly look to return!

Great for Family

Just what we needed

Had a group of 8 with dogs. Loved how quiet the area was, also loved that there were limited things to do aside from the beach & the private pool. I wanted everyone to stay near, spend time together, and not go off on their own adventure. So that really helped. The house was perfect. Spacious enough so we never felt cramped, everyone had their own space when needed. So glad there were so many beach supplies for us to use. Less we had to pack, buy, or rent.

Great Location - Issue with the Pool

Overall the property was great. It was very spacious for 2 families of 4 (3 toddlers, an infant, and 4 adults). There are a lot of stairs. The down side was upon arrival (Sunday afternoon), the pool was green. The property company was notified (voicemail). Called back on Monday to speak to someone and the pool people were in PCB and would try to come. No one arrived until Tuesday morning, and it started raining so they left. Finally, the company came back on Wed. and cleaned the pool, by the afternoon it was clear. That only left us 1.5 days to use the pool before leaving. Several calls were made to the management company - and they in turn were communicating with the pool company. The main reason for booking was for the pool for the children. The house for the most part has everything you need and we enjoyed our stay, besides the pool issues. Once it was clean, we had a great time enjoying it for the little time we had left.

This place was spacious and just a short stroll to the beach. Having its own pool was a super plus. A tv in every room was nice too! The biggest issue was from those before us didn’t put the trash out so we were left with a full trash can and a half full can along with a trail of ants to the trash. We simply placed them up on the road where we told maintenance would pick it up (they never did) and they left us a can of ant spray to use. Bad weather may have been the reason trash wasn’t picked up, but not an excuse to leave it all week. Also the WiFi needs to be updated for better connection and speed. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would certainly stay again! The views were amazing and close to the market and skullys!

Good location, terrible mattress

Location was great, number of bedrooms was great, but the upstairs mattress had our backs messed up the entire trip and we ended up sleeping on the floor. The ground level bathroom shower doesn’t drain at all. Aside from that it’s a quick walk to the beach and the pool was a nice addition.

Great Stay

The location, while not on the beach, was a very short walk to the beach along a path behind the home which was easy to get to with carts provided in the garage of the property. The house was well appointed with the exception of slightly less than lukewarm water in the 3rd floor master. There are many stairs which will provide a work out at times.! The top deck was screened in with a beautiful view of the gulf. The private pool was great.

Spacious but needs work

This property is very spacious! The communication with the property manager was superb. They have a welcome basket for your pup....very nice! BUT, there were a lot of shortcomings with the property. Three lightbulbs out...one in the Top floor master shower. And if you didn’t shower in the day light it was very dark. This same shower faucet handle is backwards....waited an eternity to get hot water after finally deciding to turn it to the cold and heated right up. The first floor shower doesn’t drain until you are finished showering. You’ll be standing in a few inches of water. The two queen bedrooms on the main level have some very sad pillows and mattresses. Very uncomfortable for a week of sleeping. We had gorgeous weather and we opened the windows on the main floor for an afternoon.....there were bugs all in the window sills. The table on the patio had sand all over it and the chairs were tumbled over. And the Adirondack chair cushions were blown all over on the opposite side of the main floor patio. The refrigerator is entirely too small for the space in the kitchen as well as for a house of this size. You do have a much larger refrigerator in the garage on the bottom floor. The main floor family area had a place on the wall that must have been damaged that was patched but left unpainted. Walk to the beach isn’t bad at all....it’s just a short walk. We rented the golf cart to transport my elderly father who has some mobility issues. But there was no key to be found. The rental company attempted to rent one for us from a local rental company but they didn’t have any available. Elizabeth was very nice and communicative about crediting our account back for that paid rental. We were just a little disappointed in the overall care and cleanliness of the house. It was pretty evident that no one had been in this house for a while.

Fun family vacation

We had a great time on our vacation! The property was very nice and accommodating for our family. The only issue was the top level bathroom had very little water pressure for shower and we could never get the water for the tub warm. The light did not work in the shower so it was pretty dark at night. But overall it was great! Thank you and we look forward to staying again at Avatar!

Beautiful home, great for families!

We had a wonderful vacation, this was our first time in Cape San Blas. Home is well equipped with anything and everything to keep the family entertained. Bikes and golf cart were a BIG hit for quick runs to the trading post! Home is in a quiet and secluded area, it’s just what we were looking for!

Great family fun!

Great house with lots of room for us ! The walk to beach was not bad and we were very thankful for the golf cart with the little ones! The pool was cold but we loved to be able to hide there when it was too windy on the beach. We cooked almost every night and found the grill helpful as well.
