“We had an overwater bungalow which was lovely with a view over the lagoon. It would have been good if there were steps down to the water from the balcony. The coffee machine was a nice touch. The resort was understaffed for the people here and the food is average and definitely not cheap. The staff were lovely, but there were not enough of them. “We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. “I do love the hotel. It is located in the city center. The cost of going from the airport to the hotel is reasonable. It is about 1500 VUV. The hotel includes a beautiful breakfast. “Fatumaru Lodge was a wonderful safe haven in Vanuatu. We explored the island a lot including going over to Irikiri Island and Hideaway Island and each time were so much happier with our accomodation at Fatumaru Lodge.
