“It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! We stayed at Solitude which is down a slope so just make sure you have no physical limitations with incline/declines. Showers are in the main lodge. Always had hot water and never a wait for the……

“Great place in south shore superior! We had 10 adults and 8 kids have a blast here for a crisp fall stay.Great location just outside of Twin ports making it easy to go visit those places. We made a day trip to Bayfield and was a great drive there.Rooms had enough space to have portable cribs.Already looking forward to our next visit with our crew!”

“This was a perfect fit for our group to stay at to explore the north shore. The host exceeded my expectations as far as communication and being accommodating. My only suggestion is to maybe add a little more furniture downstairs in the entertainment room and install carpet in the lower bedroom. You might also want to improve a few more pictures of the property for your listing, because the property is really beautiful, yet the photos don’t show it off as well as they could. :)”

“It's a wonderful little cabin with all you'd ever need. Make sure to take advantage of the private beach, which is just a short drive away. just an FYI it is located next to 13 so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, this didn't bother me, but it was some.Added bonus, there was an apple tree for picking. All in all a wonderful day and I would highly recommend.”

“Cabin and property were great. We love staying here and enjoy the nature and the lake! Many opportunities for other activities, depending on what you want to do just a car drive away. The only bad part of this trip was the pot holes on the county road, we just drove around them best we could. We will be back again!”
