Our hostess was very accommodating, the rooms were well furnished and this provided a perfect base for our stay.”

Two hot tubes was great for evening soaks and the kids loved the pool. One suggestion would be to request outside furniture to be cleaned up prior to your arrival. “Great property to get away from it all. The house was very clean and surprisingly big. The kids loved watching all the birds coming in to the feeders and walking around looking for lizards. You can't beat the mountain views at sunrise and sunset. Perfect base for exploring the Portal/Rodeo area.”

“The guest suite at the Crossed J Ranch was the ideal place to stay for our Memorial Day weekend getaway to the Chiricahua National Monument and surrounding area. The studio was quite spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The hosts were wonderful and had the place stocked with a dozen fresh eggs, butter, filtered water, condiments, spices, etc. Staying on a working ranch was a truly delightful and unique experience.
