Clean and comfortable
"Lovely location and good hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, hallways were very noisy/creeky and stairwells were dated. Good bar area and restaurant, with a very good breakfast. Unfortunately the evening meal service was not available, no prior notice was given of this and alternative plans ..."

"We love this hotel, the decor is brilliant and very fitting for the Lake District. Pool and gym are great. But you have to pay £15 if you don’t book direct. EV charging. Lovely bar and restaurant"

"Wow wow wow! “Boutique apartment” really does some The Rockefellers up of which their outstanding reviews do them justice.
