The hotel/Expedia had no mention that the property was under construction. No hot breakfast as advertised and getting to the room required exiting building and going through a side door. It’s Portland, it rains. When we arrived there was a sign saying “be right back” and 15 minutes later I saw the worker drive up in their car. They walked into the area surprised that my group and another were waiting. The room itself was clean but no hairdryer and the front façade in bathroom fell off almost landing on my foot. There was no hot breakfast but a toaster and saran wrapped bagels. The morning worker apologized saying others are complaining and they would tell management! I use Expedia all the time for years and years- this was a huge disappointment.

They were doing renovations, but my room was really nice. It had a small 2 burner range and small full-sized refrigerator with freezer. The bed was extremely comfortable and the desk had built in lights and usb plugs to charge your devices.There were only two things I thought of as cons. The first is that the toilet paper was so thin it seemed to be a one ply and very rough. The second con is that the bathroom light is on a sensor which also automatically turns on the very loud exhaust fan. Not great if you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I did not use the shower, but it looked really nice. I booked this hotel mostly for the airport shuttle which was timely, ran on a regular schedule, and the driver was friendly.

The hotel is under construction. It would have been nice to know this prior to our arrival. It was raining, we took our stuff out at the door near the front desk and then had to get the car again, reload, and then enter a different door to get to our room. Very irritating. They could have warned us ahead of time.

Clean, quiet, the night staff was very friendly, walkable to other restaurants, coffee maker and kitchenette was nice. the hotel is remodeling so it was unorganized, inconvenient, super noisy bathroom fan (you wanted to avoid walking into the bathroom at all cost), unusable closet space and I didn't feel super safe leaving my car in certain areas of the parking lot.

Amazing new rooms!!! Way more than i expected to get. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, both short term and long term stays. Super quiet area: cannot hear any landing planes or vehicles. Check in was simple and fast: Mona, the front desk gal was really helpful! Beds are super comfortable, lots of pillow selection on each bed. Room is very spacious with full kitchen setup. The hotel is still under renovations, but you do not hear any work being completed, which is great. Breakfast is lack luster, but the hotel is aware of this and the rooms are priced accordingly to relfect the active renovations and the breakfast, so don't complain about that people. I will be returning to this hotel on my next visits to Portland!
