It was good for the price and basically what I expected. A bit noisy during daytime due to proximity to freeway, but easily cancelled out by the AC / heater unit. Room was very clean. Staff were helpful and provided extra towels when we asked. Good cable subscription as well.

Where to begin. If I were to title this review I would say "needs remodeling and major work." They still include a courtyard photo when they had a pool - that pool is now filled in with concrete - they didn't want the expense of caring for the pool I guess. I could get no sleep at this hotel - the clientele around me were iffy is the best I can say and they were making noise all the way up to 1 a.m.. It was passably clean. The furniture is chipped, the lampshades stained and one was missing the top piece that keeps it on. Most of the furniture needs replacement. The bathroom area lighting is very poor. No Kleenex. The working desk area had no electrical outlet available - so bring an extension cord or something if you want to work a the desk. AND they put a $100 dollar hold on your card even if you have already paid through Expedia. So anyway - I feel the place needs more than a little work. I will NOT be staying there again. One quick night was enough. I think even a Motel 6 would be better. And it is in an industrial area so it is unkept up and a bit sketchy area. This place is cheaper for a reason.

This is a great place to stay for one person overnight visiting the area. The front desk scale was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will stay here again when I visit Beaverton.

Pros: check-in was relatively speedy, room has everything you need, including plenty of drawer space, closet space, in-room safe (although I didn’t use it), microwave and fridge. Cons: Noisy street traffic at all hours, very thin walls, noisy neighbors, terrible mattress/bedding, drafty, shower curtain not long enough so water spills out onto the floor, I’m allergic to dogs and cats and my allergies flared up real bad even though I took 3 Benadryl, not a walkable area–nothing to eat, see or do on foot. I needed to stay in the area and for that reason, this worked well enough, but I would not stay here again.

Very clean and updated, I was actually incredibly surprised how nice the property was. The area used to be a little questionable but it felt safe. The bed was comfy and had extra pillows, along with proper sheets (so often budget hotels use "fitted" sheets that are too small and don't stay put). Typical toiletries included as well as toothbrushes and paste! Didn't need it, but would have been thrilled if that's something we'd forgotten. Would certainly stay here again if we're needing a hotel in that area.

Honest Review of PepperTree Inn I recently stayed at PepperTree Inn, and unfortunately, my experience was not the best. • Upon entering my room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke mixed with an overpowering air freshener scent that was very unpleasant. I had to leave the window open for a long time just to get rid of the smell. • During the night, I was unable to get a good night’s sleep because the guest in the room above me seemed to have dogs walking around all night, making constant noise that kept me awake. Overall, my stay was disappointing due to these issues. I hope the management takes action to ensure rooms are properly cleaned and ventilated before new guests arrive, and to address noise disturbances for a better guest experience.
