Great overnight stay. Our room was spacious , clean and inviting (they had the radio w/classical music playing in advance). We stayed in room 206- no view, but it was quiet, we could not hear the train(?) like some people have complained about in reviews. The hotel felt lively and hip and the decor is very.. leather bound books, men’s study, men’s cigar room vibes - which I loved. (Sorry not sure what decor that is called). I appreciated all of the little seating areas throughout that you could sit and enjoy the hotel in.
Check in was quick and the staff was very friendly. (Valet also really nice staff and very friendly). They offered ice water and apples in the lobby, and a wine HH from 5-6pm, we grabbed a glass after dinner, and it was great. Dining Tip: Jake’s Grill is connected to the hotel and they have really good HH dining options- the chicken tacos are awesome and the cheeseburger is normal not HH sized. Although the hotel had a group of two that weekend we did not feel rushed, ignored or not as important.
Great walkable hotel near powells bookstore and other great shopping.
We would definitely stay again.
