“Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. “We were celebrating my 60th birthday with family and friends. We had a few things planned around Abersoch and the location was perfect right in the centre and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We really just wanted to eat and drink and celebrate together in the house and it was a perfect space to do this. The bedrooms were all a great size. Lovely clean comfy beds and plenty of room everywhere. We had 3 Labradors with us and so needed space and it really was a perfect home for the weekend. We……

“What a wonderful rental. From start to finish the management of all communications has been amazing. Lovely gifts welcomed us including something special for the kids. The house and gardens is so well maintained and we had everything we needed from the point of view of facilities. This is the best rental property I have stayed in with respect to service and attention to detail. It was a shame the weather didn't allow us to make more use of the garden and its stunning views. “The cottage was lovely. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more.Lots of food places nearby, small supermarket and a couple of pubs. Train station approx 10-15mins walk away. We visited Barmouth and Harlech. Keep an eye on the train times as they usually run every 2 hours, which gave us a good amount of time to look around other places.Very scenic with the view of the hills and mountains.Shared garden with 2 other cottages, good size and lovely seating areas.The host was lovely and……
