I recently stayed at this stunning hotel in Porto, and it truly exceeded my expectations in many ways. The building itself is historic and elegant, with beautifully preserved details that create a luxurious atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive, and I have to give special praise to the bellmen and concierge, who were top-notch and always eager to assist. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all that Porto has to offer.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The biggest issue was the noise from the surrounding area. Every night, well into the early hours, there were people screaming outside, which made it difficult to sleep. Traveling solo, this also made me feel a bit uneasy. Adding chair pads to the furniture would make a big difference. Also, while the bathroom was beautiful, the bathtub was very deep, making it a bit tricky to get in and out for a shower.
Despite these issues, I truly loved the hotel itself. The exceptional service and the gorgeous setting made it a memorable stay. If noise isn’t a concern for you, I would
