This hotel is in a great location if you want to take advantage of the waterfront, which for me was stunning. We also had incredible views from our room and with the windows open we still felt like we were a part of the city even in our hotel room. You’re also very close to a few of the main attractions such as palacio da Bolsa and the gold church, with most other major attractions being within a 15-20 minute walk.
One thing to note is that cars cannot access the street and it’s about a block downhill from the main road. This wasn’t a big deal but just something to know for when you are arriving/leaving with luggage or if you have a day tour.
Also, right outside the hotel is incredibly busy and packed with people a large portion of the day and at night it can be fairly loud, however, it seems like every night at 10 the singers outside would stop and things would quiet down so that was ideal.
The other thing was breakfast was a charged rate and to us didn’t look great so we just went to Cafe Ribeira near by every day for breakfast. Not a big deal but would have been convenient to eat at the hotel.
Lastly, compared to our Lisbon hotel there were some nice amenities we had gotten used to that this hotel didn’t seem to offer like free coffee/tea throughout the day and a place outside of your room to just sit and relax. These were all minor things but just what we noticed.
The rooms were great and the beds comfortable and we truly had nothing bad to really say!
