Looks different in pictures than in person. The rooms are very small and there is no ventilation between the bathroom and bedroom, as they are next to one another in proximity. The sheets have stains on them and not a comfortable experience, do not recommend if flying out.

I recently had the unexpected pleasure of staying at Solar Antigo Porto Aeroporto after a long day of travel left me completely exhausted. I hadn’t planned to stay in Porto that night and didn’t have a reservation, so I was incredibly grateful they had a room available. The room itself was charming and impeccably clean, with everything feeling fresh and thoughtfully put together. The bed was especially comfortable—exactly what I needed after a full day on the move—and the small minibar was a nice touch. I genuinely appreciated the little details that made the space feel welcoming. What stood out most, though, was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every interaction—from help with directions, to offering a delicious breakfast, to even assisting with dinner the night before—was met with kindness and generosity. Their genuine care made me feel at ease and well looked after. All in all, I give Solar Antigo Porto Aeroporto a solid 5 out of 5. I’m truly thankful for their hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This property is excellent. The location is perfect if you are returning a vehicle at the airport. You can either ask them to pick you up or you can walk. You can also walk to the airport or their 24 hour shuttle will take you or pick you up. It is very close. The staff go out of their way to make your stay relaxing and comfortable.

The hotel close to airport. The staff/ owner very nice, greeted us with two glasses of green wine and cakes. Our flight was on 6:00 am in the morning, Mark packed breakfasts for us and drove us to the airport at 4:00 am in the heavy rain. We really appreciated that.

Proximity to airport is great —about 5min walk to terminal or rental cars. Limited parking on site. Staff was friendly. Told us where to walk to find restaurants. Room was clean, bed comfy. It was a small space with luggage. Some might want to know the bathroom walls do not extend to ceiling, so no real privacy. Also, the AC light is bright and so the room was not fully dark. Recommend ear plugs and eye mask. We stayed here bc we had an early morning flight. It was perfect for that purpose. Would not stay for longer.

Staff made us feel special even though it was only for a one night stay. They provided us with the perks as advertised and the breakfast was top notch! Reception staff also gave us some great recommendations for dinner within walking distance. The shuttle to the airport was a great bonus and was right on time! Thanks!

The place was small. It showed up as king size bed and spacious on the website but it was pretty cramped. We were given room to the left of the entrance and I. Front of the check in desk. It was noisy and not very private. You literally entered the hotel and go to desk and our room was in from of the entry and desk. We heard every check in and all talking. The coffee maker was not clean and had webs on it. The bed took up the room and it hot and cramped. The designs are pretty but not practical. Everything was metal and the headboard was noisy. I wouldn’t stay here again.
