Porto Santo Pip House is an apartment on the first and second floor of a residential building, prepared for tourist accommodation, and is ideal for four people. The accommodation measures 47 m2 and consists of a bedroom with a double bed and an attic with two single beds. It has a bathroom with bathtub, kitchen and living room with a dining table. The balcony has a small table with two chairs to enjoy the sunset. There is also a shared parking area outside. The accommodation is equipped with a washing machine, fridge and freezer, gas hob, oven, microwave and other kitchen utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and TV with international channels, among other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION The island of Porto Santo is the smallest inhabited island in the Madeira Archipelago. It is connected to Madeira Island by ferry (2h30 journey) and flight connections to Madeira and some European airports. The island of Porto Santo is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and has an extensive sandy beach of about 9 km, which has been voted the best beach in Europe. The high tourist season is in the summer months. In the remaining months, the island is recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and safe destination, with a beach that can be used whenever the weather conditions are favourable, throughout the year. The apartment is 1.5 km from the airport, 3.8 km from the harbour, 650 m (10 minutes on foot) from the centre of Porto Santo and 950 m (15 minutes on foot) from the sandy beach of Porto Santo. Within walking distance of 10 to 15 minutes, there are cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and some attractions. The apartment has easy pedestrian access to the city centre and has easy access to the main roads to discover the island.
REMARKS Although the location is not very busy, there may be occasional traffic or neighbourhood noise, which is mitigated by closing the windows. We ask that all guests keep food well-packed, so as to limit attracting insects given the island climate. Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. The increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.
CONDITIONS 1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited. 2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival. 3. Guests must agree the check-in time at least two days before arrival and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability. 4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements. 5. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.
