“Wir fühlten uns in der Wohnung bzw. Grundstück sehr wohl. Einmalige ruhige Lage am Ende einer Sackgasse. Herrlicher Blick aufs Meer und die Stadt. Im September war es natürlich viel ruhiger und beschaulicher als sicher in der Hochsaison. Wir konnten noch im Meer baden und unternahmen einige Ausflüge in der Maremma. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen.”

“Nice lodge (superior), air con was nice. Beds basic but fine, shower ok. Beach sunbeds were expensive (£260 for 4 sunbeds for 6 days) but nice enough beach and had to go there because the pool has some crazy ridiculous rule about wearing a silly rubber hat in the pool when it’s 33 degrees. They are not worried about all the children weeing in the pool but if a hair were to fall out! It’s obviously a ploy to divert people away from the pool area and onto the beach which you have to pay for so……

“Lovely rustic escape on the beautiful island of Monte Argentario. House was clean and well equipped, and hosts Carmela and Pier were so warm and helpful with ideas of where to visit and which restaurants to try, as well as local info on the beaches and property. Good base to explore the island, and the local beach is only a 5-10 minute walk and not crowded. We had many playful cat visitors in the gardens as well as lizards and a tortoise, and saw wild boar across the island, so definitely a……
