“We did not realise when we booked that no toilet paper could be flushed ( septic tank) Apparently this is quite common in Sicily. We had to empty all used toilet paper into the organic waste bin outside. The owners lived next door and were on hand for any issues. The access road to the property was very narrow but fairly short, a small car would be preferred for access reasons. The WIFI was not adequate for us to stream a film. ”

“Antica masseria in piena campagna vicino Modica, ristrutturata recentemente con gusto. Camere standard non molto grandi, con angolo cottura. Bella piscina ma un po’ bassa (quindi non molto adatta per nuotare) e fredda. Personale molto gentile. Sala ristorante e colazione con tavoli prevalentemente al chiuso. Colazione ottima con prodotti locali. Bell’ambiente, giudizio positivo.”

“We stayed 4 nights at Salvatore's garden house. Salvatore was very solicitous and kind. We arrived in Noto by rental car on a dark and stormy night after a long drive. We had a very difficult time finding the house as my phone with the information had run out of battery. It was only the kindness of a local that led us to the house. Salvatore was waiting for us and greeted us with warmth. The house is spacious and fully equipped. We were a bit cold as the weather in February was chilly and……

“Petite villa simple et charmante a 5 min d une plage aux eaux limpides. Jardin tropical tres bien entretenu. Proprietaire tres accueillant. Location tres propre et fonctionnelle. Je recommande !”

“I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. A good size pool along with excellent accommodation, and plenty of Bathrooms……

Sebastiano war oft da, um Tipps zu geben und zu fragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Netter Typ! Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen dort verlebt.”

“Wir waren im Oktober hier und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sowohl für Paare als auch für Familien geeignet. Das Grundstück ist abgeschlossen und der Garten sowie die große Veranda laden zum Verweilen ein. ”

“Unfortunately our trip didn't go as planned as our son was ill but Isabella and Corrado were so kind and did everything possible to help. They are lovely people and wonderful hosts. The villa itself is lovely, especially the outside area, and the surroundings are stunning. You definitely need a car but the isolation means peace and quiet and great views. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore the area so hopefully we can return one day.”

“The view of Noto is wonderful, the olive and almond grove is huge and you can feel at home there. The host is nice. Due to the busy road behind the house, you should not be sensitive to noise. The furnishings of the house are simple and utilitarian, the bed is not suitable for longer stays. As the region is comparatively expensive, the price-performance ratio is basically good.”

“The property inside was as listed. More out door seating areas than expected surrounded by lemon trees. Pool was lovely to relax around. The owner was very helpful. Due to out late flight had got in some food for us. ”

Il est moderne, vaste et bien équipé et les levers de soleil y sont magnifiques. Les lits sont confortables, tout est d’une propreté impeccable. En tout point conforme aux photos. Les hôtes sont d’une extrême gentillesse. À notre arrivée, nous avions besoin d’aide pour monter nos lourds bagages et la dame a fait venir son athlétique mari pour nous aider. Et……
