The parking lot was 2 blocks from the hotel. The hotel itself was ancient and without modern fittings. The stairs were narrow and dangerous. The breakfast was meager. The floor of the room was uneven. The carpet was old. There was no shampoo in the bathroom. There was someone at the desk for check-in but never again.

Overall the stay was very nice and the staff was very welcoming. The only concern is that the stairwells to the efficiency apartments are very narrow and makes it difficult to carry all you need for the beach.

Second time with Pelham; great overall. I never saw any suspicious molds or water damage, and the floors were always clean on arrival. Less of a complaint and more a thing of note: the stairs to the upper levels were narrow, making it a little hard for my older mother, and in our room, the floor wasn’t completely level. Solved by just talking her steps slowly.

Very nice - great view. Room was nice. But the air conditioner did not work very well, and the weather was very warm - needless to say, we did not sleep very well in our sweat. Otherwise, nice place.

Super clean, perfect view over balcony and boardwalk. This hotel is right in the middle of everything which is perfect. Parking is a little inconvenient as it is a block or two away from the hotel, but everything else makes up for it. As far as hotel breakfast there is not much at all. I definitely recommend going to McGuirks
