“My wife and I are easy and didn’t mind the lack of A/C but you cannot leave the windows open because of the bright lights, loud traffic, and moist air. Even when we did leave the windows open there is not much wind to speak of in Furnas so it didn’t help. Had there been at least a floor fan to provide some circulation of air it would have made for a much better sleep and stay. Otherwise the place was as described, clean, close to everything and the host was available. ”

“This was our second visit to Hotel Gaivota Azores and we would come back again gladly. The staff are very warm and friendly, there is a parking pass available to rent, there is free breakfast, they offer a birthday cake delivered to room to celebrate a bday, and the view is amazing. “Fantastic staff!! Absolutely the best! Super helpful and friendly - and further bolstered by Mr Host, the house cat.!. He’s very handsome and friendly! We arrived late and the receptionist stayed 30 min late to help us find the hotel and also the parking garage. The location is great - everywhere in the city is walkable.
