“This was a great experience while in Madisonville for a basketball tournament. The house was absolutely spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The location is close to anything you want to do and only a five minute drive to the highway. The hostess was friendly and communicated with us throughout the stay to make sure everything was perfect. At this price, it was a no brainer versus staying in a hotel. Highly recommend!”

“House was very nice and perfect for my family to take the boat out for the weekend. The house has amazing views of the lake from large windows and a nice long covered porch. The family liked the chickens and firepit. The dock was a nice assest. I should have put the boat in the water first though before taking it up the road to the house and having to turn around.”

“We had a great time visiting and fishing with friends and family. The property fit our needs great. The house was well supplied with essentials so we really didn’t need to bring anything with us except for our food. Be advised there is no place to park a boat trailer on the property but the owner of Shady cliff resort let us leave our trailer’s there. All in all a great place to stay. ”

“This cabin is by far the best cabin we have stayed at. Our family is talking about going back next year. The owner did a great job communicating with us. There was plenty of things at the cabin to do and it was very well equipped for our family of 6. Our 12 year old granddaughter was ecstatic that she was able to have a bedroom all to herself! “After some medical issues early in the year we all needed a place to get away and just rest. This is a stunning retreat away from the rest of the world. Secluded but still close proximity to anything you might need. Sitting by the lake or on the spacious deck watching wildlife and enjoying the peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. Definitely will be back.”
