I recently had the opportunity to stay at The Courthouse Inn. I was excited for the unique history and decor. But, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. When I arrived, I encountered issues, starting with the lack of staff available to assist with check-in. I also felt that the security measures were inadequate as doors to the private rooms were unlocked, opened, and no staff was immediately present.
We were also told there would be a complimentary “early risers” breakfast on the first floor. However, when we checked, we found the fridge and cupboards completely empty. When we walked to the hotel’s café, we were informed that they had “run out of food” the previous day. The promise of complimentary “breakfast treats” was a key factor in my decision to choose this hotel, so this was particularly disappointing.
Overall, I was left feeling dissatisfied with my stay and would be hesitant to recommend this inn based on my experience.
