The room and decor were beautifull with an ornate painted ceiling and stunning wood floor, sadly let down by the bathroom. The room had a very comfy super king size 4 poster bed, sofa with 2 additional period chairs, a dining table for 4. In the corner of the room was a kitchenette, but only cups and glasses even though it had a 2 ring hob! The usual tea, coffee etc. No plates or cutlery or cooking pans. The bathroom was dated and not in a good way. The bidet had been broken and glued back together, a bad crack in the sink that was stained, the sink tap almost reached the front edge of the sink! The room was serviced so late in the day it was never done in our 4 day stay as we were resting between being out all day and going out for dinner, so we had to put the do not disturb sigh up. It was very clean and they need a sign to say the the aircon works if a wall light switch is on..bizzare! Over all ok for a few days but not longer.

Lovely property in beautiful neighborhood. It was an old historic building, near the top of a hill. Walking around was not too bad but I would not want to drag luggage up that way. Olena was very helpful and polite. She gave us details on the parking situation as well - pay for parking via a website. Ended up being $38 for the whole weekend, which is great where I come from. The only reason I gave the "cleanliness" a smidge less than "excellent" was bc the cups and coffee machine were kind of dirty. Otherwise, the bed, bathroom, sitting area, everything else was spotless. Wasn't really a problem as we went out for food anyways. Overall, great stay with polite and helpful staff in a beautiful building with a nice view.

Úžasné ubytovanie v úžasnej lokalite priamo pod Pražskŷm hradom, pokial nepotrebujete služby hotela a máte radšej viac súkromia a intimitu butikového štŷlu ubytovania tak Bijou Residencia je pre vás ako stvorená. Magical accommodation in magical district of Prague. Just below the castle. If you are used to boutique style of accommodation and not missing the convenience of a hotel services then this is the right place for you.

OLD PRAGUE BY THE PARK in beautiful spacey rooms
We loved our Easter holiday in Praha! The favorite capital of Europe for us both! Hotel Residence Bijou was small but wonderfully different with rooms of different names, and small balconies. The breakfast was good - Czech and continental style, with a cosy sitting area. The steep hill up to the Castle and nice areas in the park and residence area behind the Hradcany was fresh and wonderful. Also nice restaurants, small shops and the calm charm of old Lesser Town Mala Strana, combined with the nearness to Charles Bridge, Malostranska, Narodni divadlo and the river Vltava was very nice for our April trip in warm and friendly Czech Rep. Almost like jumping into the past, and a past better than the present in many ways. And an adventure in culture, nature, history and classical music! Enjoy!

Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war phänomenal und die Lage top,direkt an dem Hauptweg zum Hradschin. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und riesig und hat sogar eine kleine Küche!
