“ The pictures of this property showed what I thought was a staircase going to the bedroom. There was nothing in the description of the property that described any part of the staircase that was only visible in one picture. When we arrived, we found that it wasn’t actually a staircase but a wooden ladder to the loft. I slept in the loft and had to be extremely careful going up and down. There were two caution signs on the ladder. My older husband had to sleep on the futon. None of this was……

“We needed a last-minute place to stay for a family member who suddenly passed away in Aberdeen, and were thrilled to find this home available at an amazing price in the historic area of the town. The home dates to the 1930s, and has all the character and charm of architecture during that era. I had to explain to my adult son that each room had two doors because there was no air conditioning in 1935, so the architecture ensured air flow. Fortunately, the home has ice-cold AC! Honestly it reminded……
