“We stayed for 4 nights while tobaggening in the region. We didn't know anything about Monstein and we were so pleasantly surprised! It is the most beautiful and quaint mountain village. Everyone in the town is so friendly. There are two restaurants (we had a lovely chat with the woman who owns the one up the street) and a small grocery store where you can pre-order a fondue mix to eat in the apartment (highly recommend!). “Die Unterkunft liegt wirklich richtig toll. Vor allem der Zug der direkt vor dem Wohnzimmer vorbei fährt war besonders für meine Tochter jedes mal ein Highlight. Es hat soweit alles in der Wohnung was man braucht, die Küche ist zwar klein, aber fein :)Was wirklich ärgerlich war, war die Heizung. Hier gibt es wohl ein Problem mit der Verwaltung, sodass die Heizung nachts zentral abgeschaltet wurde. So wurde es leider in der ersten Nacht im Winter bei 2 stelligen Minusgraden draussen, drinnen……

“This place is about 20 minutes from city center, not far from the lake. There is a Lidi supermarket at the ground floor. Watch out - the room lacks some of the basic necessities, not even a box of tissues. The electric stove does not work in the room, so we just eat out. We have been to a few different hotels and apartments in Switzerland during our trip. so far this is the worst place we have been to. ”
