“A former 15th century residence, Le Petit Manoir is long on charm but if you're not good with stairs, be sure to book a ground-level room. Our room, The Colette, was reachable only by a spiral staircase that is not for the faint-hearted. The ceiling beams were charming but head-bumping hazards if you're tall. We were traveling without a car and the staff was helpful in booking us taxis (a car would have been handy but we're getting too old to drive in France). Breakfast had lots a variety and……

“We had a lovely stay. Our room was great and the staff, especially the afternoon reception clerk was wonderful. Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. Hotel is next to St Lazard station, convenience to take train and metro.
Unfortunately the shower room has no curtain, after shower, especially washing hair, toilet is all wet. If this is not improved, I don't think I will stay again as shower is very important after a long day without taking care of watering on the floor.”
“C'est la quatrième fois que, de passage dans la région, nous séjournons dans cet hôtel que nous apprécions au plus haut point pour sa localisation qui offre des panoramas superbes sur la Corrèze; pour son confort et la propreté et modernité des chambres; pour sa piscine et peut-être plus encore pour sa cuisine.
