“It was a very nice place and never thought of the equipments and utensils in the hostel are so complete. The garden cabin has 2 bedroom, one comprehensive kitchen and a bathroom. It was a wonderful place and I would definitely go there again if I go to Port Arthur again. ”

“When we arrived there Jane came out to meet us. We were very happy with it. The three of us went out to dinner beautiful dinner we had. She’s very easy to talk to. Very sociable. Very helpful. “We had a very nice stay at opossum bay. The view from the front was amazing. Bed was very comfortable and the whole layout was good. The only negative is: that it would be good if a handrail was installed for pathway to the property. Overall we had a lovely time ”

“We loved our stay here. The house is really well kitted out, with everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit, the bbq, the many different relaxing spaces in the house and the great coffee. We were lucky to have fabulous weather so spent lots of time at the beach, only 5 minutes walk away. The outdoor shower was handy for rinsing off the sand. We accidentally left a much-loved soft toy behind and Lucy messaged as soon as it was found, offering to post it to us. Thanks Lucy!”

“We really enjoyed our week as did our miniature schnauzer. The home presented exactly as described - spotless and with ample crockery, cutlery, pantry items and dog accessories. The view was amazing with dolphins present. The beach was minutes walk away and dog friendly. The property being not fully fenced was a minor issue. Property manager Deb was a great communicator. We will definitely be back”

“The property is amazing, beautiful location, the restaurant is a piece of art, with a great view of the bay. Unfortunately, and that's the reason for the "just" 4 stars rating, the service is not up there. We were there just for breakfast and we waited ages for a coldbut very simple dish (eggs on toast). A good stay in Port Arthur

"The motel is located just above the Port Arthur Historic Site. The restaurant and its outdoor can enjoy an excellent view of the whole area. However it requires you to drive to the site as it is blocked from entering from the motel. The motel services are very good!"
