It all depends on what you’re looking for…if you want a charming hotel that has retained the historic features from the original build, I absolutely love it. Makes me want to go back in time. Having an actual key to open the room door…what?! That said, there aren’t modern conveniences. No room fridge, they attempted a guest area for coffee and water but it’s not exactly ideal or close to typical accommodations. The hotel looks like it needs some TLC, but I really appreciated that I felt like I was staying in a truly historic hotel and the bed was comfy! They also let me check in 3 hours early. Given the area and other considerations I would still stay here again.

We parked in front of the hotel across the street which was perfect for us. Employees were informative and polite. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. The best part was being able to walk around the area for shipping, and dining. Prescott is gorgeous this time of year with the changing of the leaves, and the weather was perfect ! I would highly suggest the historic, quaint Vendome!!

A fantastic stay at a charming historic hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend!

Safe parking, nice location, easy to walk to downtown. Fun historical building. No hot water. The bed was so hard we both had sore hips and shoulders. Difficult to sleep as it was cold and only a tiny space heater and thin extra blanket. Felt "short sheeted", couldn't pull the bedding up around the shoulders. Despite a king size bed your feet hung off if you positioned to have covers on your shoulders. The pillows were an inch thick and severely hard. Will not return.

The air conditioning didn’t work. The person from the front desk thought she fixed it twice. The desk closes at 5:00, so when it quit the 3rd time I turned it off. The lighting was poor and I was unable to read. The TV system was something I never saw before. I couldn’t operate it. Since the desk was closed I couldn’t get help. I liked the location and it was quiet, as I requested. The decor was charming, but in much need of repair. I would have been delighted with the tub/shower 20 years ago, but I couldn’t use it because it was so deep, had a step and nothing to hold on to.

Unique historic property. Very small room, could have used a good dusting (top of wood headboard, edges of woodwork in walls) otherwise clean, but kind of dark and depressing. Very clean, large bathroom. Ok stay for 1 night. Nice verandah and nice use of historic/antique pieces made into furniture.

This quaint little hotel was like something out of the Old Western movies. It was a walk back into the past. My daughter and I loved the event. Was 1-block to the Town Square and many eateries. This was my first trip back to Prescott in 20-years. Loved the preservation of the old buildings around the Square and the sweet little hotel. Thanks so much for a grand experience. The staff was great as well as the parking. Very clean and neat!

Sweet bit of history... with some quirks.

This is a beautiful, QUAINT hotel right in the heart of Prescott. When it's not 100°, easy walking to many night spots, restaurants and shopping well as historic spots. Two things to note: The Wifi apparently only serves 2 guests, so if you need it, bring a hot spot (which might not work because cell service is notoriously spotty all through the Prescott area. ) Also, getting the ac to come on and stay on to keep the temperature where you want it requires a little fiddling with the controls. ...Special bonus thought if you're on the ground floor... use your blinds because there are active walkways just outside the windows! Loved the clawfoot tub enough to overlook the walls that need repair and the fraying carpets near the window. Overall, I have a sweet spot for places filled with history and books... and aromas that remind me of my grandmother's home.

The building is historic and is very similar to the original. The decore is in need of ipgrade. The staff was great. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Would go again

This was a quaint historic building with cozy, clean rooms. Everything was within walking distance but far enough away from Whiskey Row so you weren't kept awake by the music at the bars. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
