Overall a great place with several areas to hang out inside and out. We were limited by the weather (rain) so didn’t get to use them all, but I imagine it's great with some sunshine.

Great getaway spot

Had a great stay at the cabin. We are huge fans of the Boulder Junction area and the cabin is smack dab in the middle of it all. Cozy cabin, great three season porch. We were serenaded by Loons and loved hanging by the fireplace. So much to see and do in that neck of the woods.

Great Winter Stay at Loon Song

This cabin was perfect for our winter family getaway to the Boulder Junction Area. The cabin was cozy and fit five of us nicely (2 adults and 3 kids under age 10). We enjoyed ice fishing local lakes, shopping, coffee and Aqualand Alehouse in Boulder Junction and the really cool new Glide Ice Skating Forest Loop! Great location on a beautiful lake and short drive just a few minutes into Boulder Junction! Will stay again!

God's country

Beautiful surroundings to wake up to. Loon Song cabin is very inviting, comfy and cozy. It was a brief few days get-away. One that was worth it. Just to relax and kick back. What a beautiful lake view from the cabin. It is so peaceful up here in the north woods. This has been a beautiful area to get away to, relax, bike ride, hike and kayak. We would like to come back to the Loon Song cabin.

Great cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well designed and well decorated. We loved sitting on the screened porch and watching the hummingbirds on the feeder. We took out a canoe and paddled to Wildcat lake where a pair of bald eagles were nesting on one of the islands. We came to ride bikes and this was a pretty good starting point but you do need to ride on the shoulder of the Highway for about a mile till you get to the path. Then it’s about 4 miles to Boulder Junction. Overall, this was a great place for us.

Cozy weekend in the north woods

The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. A bit too cold still (late April!) to enjoy the cute porch facing the lake though. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. On the whole a lovely weekend! The one small criticism would be that the towels were a weird microfiber material that was hard to get used to.

Winter Getaway

Cutest, coziest cabin ever! Immaculately clean and well kept. Had everything we could possibly need. Planning to return in the fall to enjoy the fishing and enclosed porch overlooking the lake! Owners were awesome!

Top Notch - Beautiful Place

This cabin is perfect inside and out. Love the interior and the way it is furnished. It's clean, very comfortable, and the owners are amazing. Mike went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to get away and relax. I'll be coming back for sure.

Wifi Issue

Had trouble with wifi and no tv in the master bedroom. No cell service at the cabin and no wifi which meant no way to contact owner until the following day in town. Owner did respond saying the wifi information was not correct as posted both in the cabin and in the information sent via email. We rented the cabin knowing we needed wifi due to my husband's job. We spent the morning sitting at the coffee house in town to make sure he could get work done until we were able to get the correct information for the cabin. Very frustrated.

Great Winter Get Away

The cabin was exactly what we were expecting. It was clean and cozy. We slept great with the beds that were in the rooms. The scenery was amazing! The owners were easy to get a hold of and were very helpful. We will sure to be back.

Beautiful Cabin with plenty of space

We enjoyed our stay in the North woods. This is our second year staying at Wildcat Cabins and will definitely be back again next year. Perfectly decorated and cozy for our family. The property manager/owner is very responsive and friendly. Snowmobiling was amazing too!!

Wildcat Cabin Winter Wonderland

My wife and and I were looking to do an early season winter weekend. It hadn't occurred to me that we had stayed at this cabin before. Very clean and warm. Can sleep four, but kitchen area would be a little tight with too many folks moving around at meal time. The cabin is a beautiful location near Boulder Junction. Very cozy, private, and close to the north woods. We found cross country skiing close by, and nature hikes in the state forest. We even had all the holiday decorations for the season already above the fireplace! Covid has shut down some of the local businesses early, so call around in winter to make sure folks are open.

AMAZING

This is year 2 at the Loon Song Cabin and we will be back again! It's a magical spot! We so enjoyed the fireplace and the ability to take a nice long walk on the frozen lake. We hope to come back in the summer to see more of the lake!!
