I was concerned that the neighborood on the dock might be a whoop-it-up loud all-night-long kind of party crowd (and I am VERY boring), but everyone was going-out-of-their way charming and kind. Overall - it was lovely. Highly recommend it. Perfect getaway. ”

“Staying in the houseboat was an adventure. We had a few hiccups in the check-in process but the hosts were very responsive and everything was sorted out very quickly. The houseboat was made in the 60s so some things were as I expected and some things such as the heating was not. The first night of the stay the temps dropped down into the 30s and the boat was COLD! “We had a great time at this beautiful property! The location was great, sunrise over the hill was gorgeous, and everything you could want is there in the rental. Quick to get into Galena but peaceful in the mornings and at night. The hot tub was wonderful and a great way to relax and catch up with some very dear friends.
