We enjoyed our stay at the Landmark and will stay there in the future if we travel to Pikeville. The front desk staff were extremely nice, and the room was very clean and spacious.

The manager at the front desk was wonderful! I had been awake for over 24 hours working & driving to see my boyfriend in the hospital & she gave me an early check-in time! She also told me about calling the hospital to get the friends and family discount that Landmark offers to PMC hospital patients' families, which was a HUGE blessing to me financially! I truly appreciated the effort that this hotel put in to make my stay there the best they could! I would highly recommend this property as my room was clean & quiet & I couldn't begin to beat the rate they give to PMC patient's families/friends anywhere else in Pikeville!

Room was clean and bed was good. Staff was very friendly. Outlet by the sink did not work. Doors did not have safety chains or bars. Wallpaper was loose in several places. Hotel looks a bit rundown. I would not stay here again.

Its an older hotel but for 1/2 the price than the Holiday Inn down the road. Rooms are a bit dated as you'd expect for an older place, but the housekeeping staff do their best to keep your room clean and smelling fresh. Front desk staff were great- easy check-in and easy out. I had a 4th floor balcony room that looked over the back parking lot towards the hillside, it was pretty in the morning with the fog laying on the green hills. It is on a main busy street but convenient to access the area. I did not feel unsafe at all walking around the building to and from the car and the grounds were well kept. I am picky, but i thought the hotel was a good value and with some minor improvements like: brighter paint on the walls, some brighter light bulbs and fresh carpet could make this hotel stand out even more. Thank you Landmark for a great convenient and comfortable stay!

Would have liked the carpet steam cleaned and firmer mattress but very pleased with the overall cleanness, staff was great helping with our being elderly and not able to climb stairs. Very good for younger age and families .

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. However, the hotel is being renovated and it appears the photos on the website are from a newly remodeled room, which is certainly not what we got. Our room was very outdated, and the bathroom was so small you had to squeeze between the toilet and shower to even shut the door.

Convenient and safe. Our bathroom room swelled like sewage and the room just generally seemed icky. Facility had a renovation sign in the elevator so hopefully updates throughout soon.

The pictures do not match the Landmark Hotel. It’s more like a motel than a hotel. The tack strips poked through the carpet and into feet. The pillows on the beds are very small and do not match the size of the bed. The room was okay and people that work there were okay. Just the building has the room entrance door that was accessible outside, which is why it’s more like a motel. Then there was a very loud bird that wakes you up at 2am-3am. And since the room door is accessible outside people would smoke and it would drift into the room of a non-smoker causing a migraine.

It would have been helpful if guests were informed ahead of time that there would be no one available at this location to check them in during certain hours. I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes for an employee to return from their break. I even tried calling the property, but after waiting 20 minutes on the phone, no one answered. I have previously stayed at this property without any issues, so this was disappointing. If I owned this property, I would train a member of housekeeping or another staff member to assist guests at the front desk whenever the main receptionist is on break. This would speed up customer service and help ensure that no one leaves frustrated. While I was waiting, several guests approached me with questions about the Wi-Fi code and other concerns. Fortunately, I still had the code from my previous stay and was able to help them, even though I am not an employee.
